Review for Sanctuary for Senior Dogs, Cleveland, OH, USA
When SAM, the best dog in the world was declining, I visited the SSD. After his death and grieving time, I visited once again. Staff was gentle and understanding about our loss. They invited us to an adoption Sunday to meet dogs who needed foster dog owners. Buddy had a spiral cell tumor that needed surgery. Buddy was a great fit for our home. I did not want to see him get adopted, so I bought him. After he died, once again after my grieving was in control, I visited SSD and Mackie needed a foster home. Then came Mr. Andy with Heart Worm. After his death I took his medication to SSD and
THERE WAS Jinjur, who needed a home for the weekend, but that lasted longer and I was in love. I wanted to help SSD any way I could and now Markie is here. He came here weighing 6 pounds and did not eat. Food appropriate for anorexia was given to us. He is now eating kibble that SSD supplies and has had grooming. SSD supplies all the equipment , medications and services the dogs need.
