Review for Michigan Disability Rights Coalition, E Lansing, MI, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I can state that Michigan Disability Rights Coalition is one of the most honest, hard working, and caring non profit organizations I have ever had the blessing to be a part of. The depths the staff reach for and obtain are amazing. I love that there is not one single person that gets turned away. They fight for the rights for so many, and it has no bias. Black, White, Red, Yellow, Straight, Homosexual, Heterosexual, Blind, Deaf, the list goes on and on and not one person has ever been turned away because of what others may call a handicap, disability, or the wrong way of thinking. I will stand behind MDRC and all it stands for. This is an amazing organization that deserves recognition.

My family and I have participated in the fundraisers held by MDRC and I am amazed at the team effort by the staff and the joy of the clients each and every time. Most people have no idea what it takes to hold fundraisers, especially in this economy, but, this organization is just amazing. I wish there were more we could do to bring forth more opportunity for the clients and more recognition of what exactly MDRC does so more grant money can be had. Keep up the amazing work. We will support you everytime!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

During fundraisers, I was able to donate and watch others reach deep within their pockets to meet the goal of each fundraiser.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Amazing, caring individuals who see the depths of the need for assistance for the disabled.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Change the lives of so many. Those that believe there is no help out there, would be able to see and obtain assistance to make their lives seem more complete with the ability the rights have to offer

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every six months
