Review for Gospel for Asia, Inc., Wills Point, TX, USA

Rating: 1 stars

I'm an American traveling in India right now and NOT by the invitation of GFA. What I see going on here deserves serious investigation, BUT we will never be able to do that as this is India and not the US. The founder of GFA started with great intentions and a lot of charisma. He is now purchasing vast amounts of land in Kerala, India and is under investigation for how he has come to have so much money. He is also building a large mansion far above anyone else here. It makes me sick to my stomach that it will seem like nobody can stop this. Even this review will probably be deleted by them. Pray and see if this is true. This is not an Internet rumor. I'm here in India now and can see with my own eyes.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I'm in India now and disgusted by the results. There is NO accountability for how the money is directed. I would imagine that only a few church planters are supported by thousands of churches and people in the US, but much of the funds go elsewhere.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

it already has more than that

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

Role:  Volunteer & I've worked with other Indian Christian in Kerala that also see this problem.

There have been numerous misinformation campaigns in India initiated in India with the purpose of attempting to discredit K.P. Yohannan and the ministry of Gospel for Asia. Attached is an open letter to fellow Christians from K.P. Yohannan addressing these issues. More than a hundred nationally known pastors, church leaders, businessmen and individuals have visited GFA's work in South Asia. Some travel with the ministry and others have made their own travel arrangements. We would be happy to provide references at your request. Regarding the above post, to our knowledge, we do not have a record of this individual as a volunteer or any past correspondence inquiring us about these issues before posting this comment.
