The reef ball foundation has been an extremely important partner for CCA Maryland over the last many years. We use reef balls in our habitat and education program called the Living Reef Action Campaign. We work with students throughout the state of Maryland to make them aware of the value of reef habitat in the Chesapeake bay, and build reef balls to help increase the population of oysters, and the many other animals that help filter the waters of the Chesapeake Bay when living on reef balls.
