I have volunteered with this great organization for over 10 years, assisting with their golf events and specifically the opening ceremonies. The people are awesome, and they do so much good for so many.
The opening ceremony of a golf event is special - the introduction by branch and conflict of all veterans attending, the color guard, the introduction of the Gold Star Families, the welcoming of all. These proceedings are very humbling and most rewarding.
