Review for Fresno Bully Rescue, Inc., Sanger, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

As with all no kill shelters, they go above and beyond to help dogs in need. They go one step further though by helping those misunderstood breeds. Those breeds that get a bad rap from the media. On top of that, they do their best to educate others to help in the fight against BSL and to stop all the incorrect and non-factual information being spread by those who refuse to take the time to experience and learn the truth about these wonderful dog breeds. I adopted my first pit bull mix over 15 years ago and instantly fell in love with the breed. Since then I have rescued four more pit bulls and I honestly can not see myself ever owning another breed except a pit bull again. And shelters like Fresno Bully Rescue give dogs like mine a fighting chance to find their forever homes.

One more thing that shows how much they care about dogs. Although I do not get to volunteer as much as I would like, I do go when I can. Now they may not remember me by name, being that there are so many volunteers that walk through those gates, but a few of them do remember, quite amazingly, the stories of how each of my pibbles came into my life, as well as the story of how I lost my Mazi, my angel. To me, that shows just how much they care about animals. Not just their four-legged family members, but those of others as well.

To the Fresno Bully Rescue staff and all their incredible volunteers, you are truly amazing. Words can not express my appreciation for everything you do and what you stand for. I am forever grateful that you have allowed me to be a part of your team.
