Being able to interact with other survivors and those interested in increasing the number of survivors through education and action has been an important part of my life that would not have been possible without the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation.

Mary Newman and the SCAF have always been responsive to the needs of this survivor. Their website is beautiful and their newsletter a "must read". I believe that their administrative overhead is very low.
Review for Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation, Wexford, PA, USA
As a board member and sudden cardiac arrest survivor I can unequivocably state that
1) this non-profit's heart is in the right place.
2) its administrative costs are extremely low-every dollar donated goes towards reducing death and disability from SCA.

I give the SCAF my highest rating. When I had my cardiac arrest (and survived), the SCAF was there to serve as an advocacy group to promote awareness of sudden cardiac arrest and increase the availability and accessibility of AEDs. The SCAF has encouraged me to develop as an advocate and become a board member. Our president, Mary Newman, is totally dedicated to reducing death from SCA and is indefatigable.
