Review for The Sato Project, Brooklyn, NY, USA
What can I say about an organization that rescues unwanted puppies from dead dog beach and other dreadful situations?, plays a huge part in Puerto Rico’s historically massive spay/ neuter of cats and dogs (Spayathon for PR), reunites mascots with their families that were left behind due to hurricane Maria. Takes an active role in changing legislation for the betterment of animals in PR, clears shelters in addition to rehabilitating them for other animals? Nothing short of amazing!!! The Sato Project helped me rescue my current puppy and for that I remain forever grateful. I called them and explained that I had found dog on the beach that I wanted to rescue but did not have enough vacation time left on the island to do so, they took her in. Luna Loiza was in their care for 10 weeks, as a result of her having contacted Ehrlichia while she was abandoned. They flew her to Newark, NJ where I formally adopted her 3 years ago. Today Luna Loiza is a beautiful healthy and loved Emotional Support Dog. I personally volunteer for this organization because I believe in what they do and how they go about achieving their goals and commitments.
