Sacred is a wonderful organization that fills an important gap for victims of child sexual abuse. They work only with Children’s Advocacy Centers, like Sunflower House, to vet and refer families facing an immediate, unexpected financial crisis because of experiencing child sexual abuse, often at the hands of the family’s breadwinner. They provide funds to pay for rent, utilities, food, and other needs for a month or two until the family is processed to receive victim assistance funds. It is a lifeline for many families at a time when they need compassion and help the most! The founders, the D'Attomas, do all their work voluntarily, with no compensation, so all the money raised goes directly to fulfill the mission of the organization.
