Review for Paso Pacifico, Ventura, CA, USA
I first heard of Paso Pacifico and the great work that they do through a friend. Much later I was fortunate enough to be a conservation intern. Paso Pacifico's team is made up of skilled individuals with so much passion, this includes their team in Nicaragua and El Salvador! All of the conservation project that they do are critical and their approach is affective. By working with local landowners and emphasizing education of local communities Paso Pacifico is making lasting change. Some of the projects and successes I found most admirable include their junior ranger program, this program has reached hundreds of children encouraging them to be active participants in conservation efforts. Paso Pacifico has also established a community ranger program, these rangers collect scientific data, protect turtle nesting sites, setting camera traps and so much more!
