Review for Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue, Los Angeles, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I adopted my dog from this rescue and the process was smooth and the rescue had integrity. Great experience and we are very happy with our pet. This rescue does a lot for pets in need and has contributed toward helping dogs get over abuse and currently is looking into helping a puppy get a prosthetic leg (the puppy only has 3 legs). I can't say enough good things about his rescue.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Through the adoption of my pet.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Nothing. They are top notch!

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Their dedication to helping the Golden Retriever breed and rehabilitating those pets in need and placeing them. They are a great resource for both pets who need additional care and also for pets who are fine and just need a loving home.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Professional and caring. Amazing people who love animals!!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Help even more Golden Retreivers who's health require more funds to restore them.

Ways to make it better...

Can't think of anything.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Getting enough $ so they can continue to help those animals in serious need due to abuse, neglect, etc. They currently are working on a prosthetic leg for a puppy that has 3 legs. Very committed organization!

One thing I'd also say is that...

I lost my Golden Retreiver to cancer in 2009. I'm so happy to have found this organization to help me with my healing and rescue my current pet from them so that he too will have the life and home he deserves!

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
