I have been a member of ACFPA since 2008. The meetings offer a wealth of knowledge. They direct you to classes and events that the organization puts on which can help you and your foster/adopt children. The ACFPA holds a number of fund raisers which benefit the children at Christmas time and at the yearly picnic, right before school begins. They also hold a wonderful yearly dinner to appreciate all the foster/adopt parents. My family and I feel very blessed for the additions to our family and thank them for all their help, classes and donations. Going to functions together builds friendships and offers a great support system.
