Get Lit is a truly transformative organization. Both the scope and depth of their reach is remarkable. As someone who has been a student who participated in the Get Lit Classic Slam, a forum where I felt empowered to express my words and my voice, and an intern in the education department, I can say that every day I feel truly lucky to be surrounded by inspiring people and inspired poetry.
