I joined Creating IT Futures on a training program as a fellow, this was a perfect match for me because I run a similar project in Uganda, later on, I realized that my project has done a good job to introduce tech to rural students but in the end has left them with no clear career path. Creating IT Futures has given me the opportunity to learn from industry experts and hear stories of impacts from their graduates who get both skills and job search support from Creating IT Futures team, this is now shaping how we shall deliver our tech projects in Uganda with effect from 2020.
