I have been a member of The Parrot Posse for several years. They do excellent work supporting reputable parrot rescues all across the lower 48 USA states. They are scrupulously honest, and transparent about how the funds we, the members raise, is spent to help birds in need.
I’m proud to be a part of this caring group of people, who are dedicated to improving the lives of parrots in need. A mention on the negative reviews recently posted about The Parrot Posse, they are a few people with a petty grudge, who should find something more constructive to do with their time, like supporting good rescues, as the Posse does, rather than trying to run down a wonderful organization.

The Parrot Posse goes above and beyond to provide support to parrot specific rescue organizations who by and large, receive less funding and attention, in comparison to dog and cat rescues (who also need funds, but have a higher profile for fundraising). The Posse has miniscule administrative costs, so the majority of the fund raised by its members, go directly toward its mission, providing needed food and supplies to reputable parrot rescues across the nation, allowing them to stretch their tight budgets to care for the parrots in their care. The Posse also assist in providing food, supplies, cages and advice on parrot care, when requested by animal control departments, when parrots are seized in cases of extreme abuse and neglect. The Parrot Posse fills a critical niche in ensuring that rescued parrots receive the care they need.

If you love parrots and want to help support parrot rescues, please consider joining the Parrot Posse. This amazing group bands together to raise money that is used to purchase items needed by legitimate parrot rescues. They are completely transparent about where your donated funds go...publish receipts on their Facebook page. The members are passionate about parrot welfare. As someone who had to give up my beloved birds due to health reasons, fortunately to a reputable rescue group, Phoenix Landing Foundation, I am all about providing as much support as I can to both my personal rescue and to the Parrot Posse who assists many rescues.
