I contacted Doing Right by Rescues shortly after our rescued dog, Percy, had bitten my husband. A former breeder dog, caged in an Amish mill for three years, Percy was very fear based, particularly with men. Despite the fact that we are experienced dog owners who had successfully trained 3 dogs, including a rescued stray, we felt we were failing Percy.

Pam evaluated Percy and reassured us that he was capable of rehabilitation. Pam also gave us tools, such as Tellington Touch techniques to calm Percy.

Six months later, we’ve seen remarkable progress with Percy. In the second photo, you can see the happy dog he’s become. We will be forever grateful for the support and encouragement afforded us by Doing Right by Rescues.
