My kids have been involved in MiSCA for a number of years now. It's an empowering organization that has helped them build confidence in facets of their lives far beyond the bike. I would encourage anyone considering MiSCA as a recreational outlet for their children to sign up immediately.

Our daughters have built confidence both on the bike and off thanks to MiSCA. They've also made friends from across the state, an opportunity that they wouldn't have were it not for MiSCA's broad reach and inclusive atmosphere. As girls in a traditionally male-dominated sport, they also really appreciate MiSCA's approach to supporting girls on bikes. Overall, MiSCA has been an unbelievable benefit to our family and other families on our MTB team. I've since joined the board, and volunteer when I can. We believe in the mission and are thrilled to see it unfold!

Teaching kids life skills and bike skills at the same time. Our daughters have built some grit, learned to race through exhaustion, gotten better at mountain biking all along. Sounds like hard work right? Maybe it is, but you'd never know it by the big smiles at races. They have loved their time with MISCA. It's a great program for kids in Michigan.
Thanks, Brian! The Coyotes are doing great stuff in the Grand Rapids area - thank you! I'm happy to see you and the girls active in non-MiSCA races as well.
