This year (2020) has been a really tough year financially, so I haven't been able to donate as much as I would like. I'm really glad that what I was able to give was 100% used to feed horses impacted by CA fire evacuations. It's great when you know it's going where it's really needed, and not to overhead or salaries like some of the big non-profits.

Marlene Dodge is extraordinary - here's just one way: as a retired firefighter, she can go behind the firelines and evacuate horses that other people aren't permitted to get to. When it's mandatory evacuation, you can only LEAVE - no back and forth trips. But Marlene can and will!

Really helps beginner horse owners and riders with workshops and seminars. We learned a lot about natural horse behavior that explained miscommunication between us and our horses, and we were to fix it.

HorseSense helped me find a new home for my horse with a lovely couple when I couldn’t afford to keep him anymore. They send me photos and I’m so happy even tho I miss him.
