I first learned about African Community Education from my daughter when, as a college student, she volunteered with the afterschool program as her community service project. The staff and volunteers were so dedicated and committed to serving the African refugee youth in Worcester. The youth received a lot of tutoring support from ACE and also a sense of community and a way to celebrate their African heritage. Eventually, my husband and I became foster parents to a refugee youth from East Africa. He participated in ACE programs for two years. We are now regular donors to ACE. We feel we are making a financial investment in the future of our community. Thanks ACE for fulfilling your mission and vision!
