Excellent organization!!! As a breast cancer survivor I needed help with finances. Medical bills were adding up and having to pay a $4,000 deductible before the insurance company would contribute gave me anxiety. I have always worked full-time with full benefits. Although during my cancer journey I was working part-time agency. Maggie at the Gardner House was able to write a letter on my behalf and get help to assist me in paying my rental bill.
By doing this for me I was able to free up some monies and buy my much needed medical supplements which cost a great deal of money. I will be forever grateful for her efforts in understanding my burdens. People don't understand when your fighting cancer it takes so much out of a patient mentally and physically. We are trying to fight to live and also fight to not lose everything we worked so hard before being diagnosed with cancer. Ms. Gardner has gone through cancer 2 times and understands the struggle and shows empathy to those in need of help.

As a breast Cancer survivor I was going through medical issues. I had a lot of medical bills was having anxiety about how I was going to pay them since I had loss my job. I found out about Gardner's house and she was able to write a letter on my behalf to an organization. They were able to help me pay my mortgage and this help me free up monies in order to pay my medical expenses. I am grateful for Gardner's ssistance in helping me.
