I have been a board member of the Elizabeth Stone House for about 2 years. I chose to serve on the board because I strongly believe in its approach to working with survivors of domestic violence and related trauma. The approach illustrates an understanding of the complex and different ways DV and related trauma shows up in a survivor's life, and a willingness/commitment to meet survivors where they are.
