My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for PROJECT HOPE FOUNDATION INC, Greenville, SC, USA
Project HOPE Foundation has served as a leader in autism services for more than 20 years. As a long-time volunteer, I have had the rewarding firsthand experience of seeing the organization grow from a small inclusion-based preschool to one of the largest nonprofit providers of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in South Carolina. As an aunt of a young-adult nephew with autism, I have also had the gratifying personal experience of watching my nephew literally grow up under the care of Project HOPE. While still facing significant challenges, Colby continues to gain new skills and make progress at age 24.
By offering a range of programs (including one-on-one therapy, classroom models, social groups, life skills, and adult employment), Project HOPE matches each client’s needs with the most effective strategies for working towards leading his/her most independent and fulfilling life. The impact this organization makes is profound---not only for the client but also for family members. Project HOPE has further broadened its positive reach through workshops/trainings, community outreach, advocacy efforts, and collaborations.
I am both proud and grateful to be associated with the amazing Project HOPE family.
