Review for German Shepherd Safe Haven Inc, Laguna Niguel, CA, USA
I adopted my dog, Molly, from German Shepherd Safe Haven (GSSH) in late 2017. I found GSSH on line and looked at the dogs that had that were available for adoption. I saw several that I was interested in so I filled out the application on the website and submitted it.
The application process was easy and strait-forward. A few days after submitting my application, Tom from GSSH called me . He asked questions
about me, my house and yard, and about other animals I had and had previously owned. I told him I had a Shepherd that had died about 6 months earlier and that they were my favorite dog breed. After talking for a while Tom said that Molly might be a good fit for me, and suggested that we get together at a park near GSSH to meet. He did this so Molly and I were each on neutral ground, not at either one’s home.
We met at the park and after introducing us Tom let me walk Molly on a leash as we talked. After a while we sat on a bench and Molly sat down and immediately leaned against my leg. I knew right then that Molly was the right dog for me.
A week later, Tom brought Molly to my house to make sure my house and property were secure and that it was a proper home for Molly. He was satisfied and left her with me day last December.
Molly quickly became my best friend and I am incredibly happy that I found her. I take her with me whenever I can and she loves to go places with me. Tom does a fantastic job and I recommend GSSH to anyone thinking of adopting a German Shepherd. They are the best!
