German Shepherd Safe Haven is by far the best rescue in California if not the United States. I started donating to them 4 years ago after finding out the GS rescue I was donating previously had paid staff when they had been telling the general public that they were all volunteer based. German Shepherd Safe Haven is the real deal and Tom their founder is as straight forward as they come. If he does not feel the potential family is the right fit for the dog he just says it. What is best for the dog is best for the family. I have heard him say this a few times. If you want to find the right dog call Tom. He will get you the right fit for your family. I love this rescue and what it stands for 100 percent. If you are looking for a great rescue to donate too this would be it.
