After our loss of our wonderful 11 year old shepherd in December of 2017 we were not sure of getting another one right away. But knowing all the great work the german shepherd safe haven has done and all the time Tom put into to finding these dogs how could we not. He brought us a little 2 month old shepherd who needed a home after surgery from an accident and what a special surprise he has been. We adopted him early March of 2018 and the joy he has brought into our household has been amazing.
Tom continues to coach us on his training if we have any questions or concerns. We can count on him to respond to our questions about the right food and care for this little puppy.
We recently brought him to the yearly picnic in October and had so much fun watching all the dogs bond with the common theme of being rescued and given a second chance. You can't ask for a better reason tho celebrate!!!
