Review for GO2 Foundation for Lung Cancer, Washington, DC, USA
I found the Lung Cancer Alliance quite by accident right after my father was diagnosed with stage 4 Lung Cancer back in 2013. Through the LCA, I learned more about the disease that would eventually take my fathers life. In addition to getting educated, I have actively participated with the Lung Cancer Alliance family of events, from the Philly half marathon to the Lung Cancer Run/Walk at the Zoo. And since losing my father, Aunt and best friend to this awful painful cancer, I have expanded my involvement to other lung cancer foundations events, however, there is something very special about the close knit community of the Lung Cancer Alliance, and that is where my heart belongs. It was the very first foundation that remains the most passionate and motivated group I have had the lovely experience of working with.
