Review for Access Framingham, Framingham, MA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I started volunteering at the Access Framingham Television Station in 2013 and continue to do so on a regular basis, producing a show three times per week that is aired in the Metro West area.

Because of the training I receive at Access Framingham Television, I am able to volunteer at the Greater Framingham Community Church with video taping. I produce the Greater Framingham Community Church Hour of Blessing and the Greater Framingham Community Church specials. I video tape, edit and publish these shows on a regular basis on social media. Some of my work is aired on the Roxbury Community College website, where I am pursuing my Associate Degree in Media Broadcasting Technology.

On September 21, 2015, I received the first Annual Bill Rabkin – Volunteer of the Year Award, in recognition of my enthusiasm and dedication to learning all aspects of television production. Receiving recognition from editors, viewers, guests, and organizations who appreciated the effort I took to tell a story, tells me that my dream is becoming a reality.

I am happy to give Access Framingham Television (Framingham Public Access Corporation), 5 stars as they continue to engage, serve and enrich the community by developing programming by and for the people of Framingham, providing educational opportunities, and facilitating the exchange of ideas and information through traditional and news media.

I am proud to be a part of the volunteering group with Access Framingham Television station. I remember when I started out I had no idea what to do and where to start. With the instruction of Francesca and the Access team I was able to learn the basic of editing and move from editing one program in 3 weeks to complete the same program in a few hours. Producing the Greater Framingham Community Church each week and helping with local production in the Metro West Community and Boston.

I start school in Media Broadcasting at Roxbury Community College. Recently I graduated with my certificate and at the moment I am pursuing an Associate Degree in Broadcasting.

These achievement I credit to the opportunity that I was given at Access Framingham Television Station. Few years ago, I receive the first annual Bill Rabkin- Volunteer of the year award, in recognition of my enthusiasm and dedication to learning all aspect of television production.

I am happy to give Access Framingham Television (Framingham Public Access Corporation) 5 stars as they continue to engage, serve and enrich the community by developing programming by and for the people of Framingham, providing educational opportunities, and facilitating the exchange of ideas and information through traditional and new media.
