Review for Kellermann Foundation, Richardson, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Being a board member for the past several years has shown me what wonderful work the Kellerman Foundation has accomplished, and shown me the exciting vision for the Foundation's future. I am honored and blessed to be a small part of the Foundation’s incredible work. The Foundation has improved the lives of the Batwa people and the surrounding community of southwestern Uganda, and continues to transform the area.

Dr. Kellermann’s work began with a trip to a remote part of Uganda, using a tree to hold IV bags. Since this modest medical mission began, his work has evolved into a dynamic Foundation that has supported building a first-class hospital, a nursing school, education programs, agricultural programs, housing, community centers and gathering spots, and spiritual support for a remote area of Uganda. The Batwa people have come from a marginalized and nearly extinct group of internally displaced people into a thriving community, that is growing stronger each year, as healthcare and education levels are raised through the support of the Kellermann Foundation and Dr. Kellermann's vision and love.

The Foundation continues to provide hope and health to the communities in this remote area and the passionate staff and board members are all committed to ensuring that the Foundation continues to use all of its resources to directly impact the Batwa people and the region.
