Review for Water Wells for Africa, Manhattan Beach, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

We absolutely love being part of bringing clean water to Malawi, Africa with WWFA. Every first world country should bring support to them. Clean water should not be so hard to attain and WWFA is paving the way of providing it one bore hole at a time. We were able to witness the process, meet the locals who do the work, and celebrate with the local village and their water committees. WWFA completely invests in Africa, with volunteers using their personal funds for travel and food. Donated funds are for the clean water projects.

I had the privilege of traveling with Kurt and the WWFA team. They help the locals in a wide variety of ways , in between dedicating all of the new water wells. At well dedications we sang and danced with the locals, decorated the wells, and passed out party supplies to the children. Each well has a water committee, so the locals are committed to taking care of the well and keeping it sustainable and maintained. Their pride for their village well and their gratitude just reinforces the life changing difference clean water brings to them! The affects of clean water are health, regular school attendance and mothers having more time to enjoy their spouse and work on other things.

Within days of my son passing away from Leukemia, we had raised almost enough money to put a well in Malawi in his honor. WWFA had a plaque made, dug and dedicated the well that month. Children danced for joy at their clean water! That was our son’s passion and now a remote village is part of his legacy. Pictures and videos poured in from Africa and were shared with all of our hurting family and friends. I love a non-profit that even has compassion for donors. So many get stuck in rigid rules of business. We ended up fully funding that well and a 2nd one. In May, I plan to travel with the team to dig that 2nd Joel Seiler Legacy Well. Thank you, WWFA, for helping us add joy to a hurting world! Thank you for bringing freshwater and Living Water to those in desperate need!
