I had to travel to Houston for medical care, which was an unfamiliar big city to me. Besides the usual stress of finding the way around a bustling city, I had to deal with the fact that I was sick. In a time like that, a person desires comfort of things like home as well as assistance about the community. ASCF provided all of this to me and was beyond accommodating. The apartment was well decorated and stocked with some “extras” including essentials I thought I would have to go to the store to buy. Everything was clean and decorated with personal touches. Parking was very easy and not far. When I needed to communicate some details with ASCF, they (Jen) were very easy to reach. Thank you so much for providing myself and my caretaker with a place to stay while we visited MD Anderson. The heartfelt generousity of this organization will never be forgotten by myself and my family. I hope ASCF is able to continue serving those who need this service.
