After losing our 12.5 year old Yorkie to renal & heart failure,after a few months, we contacted Florida Yorkie Rescue to adopt a Yorkie. The application was easy. A home visit was made to insure there was a safe environment, our vet was contacted to insure good health care, if needed. We were offered the chance to adopt a healthy 2 year old little girl, Scarlet Jane. It has been almost 2 years since that happened. Since then, I have had the opportunity to join their volunteer group & felt much self satisfaction with fostering and transporting surrendered yorkies. This organization is just wonderful. They take in any Yorkie, Maltese, mix that has a need & gets the medical help that they need to become adopted. They survive strictly on donations. The first photo is of our lost baby, Sarah. The 2nd is of our sweet Scarlet Jane.
