Review for Hearts That Purr Feline Guardians, Tucson, AZ, USA
I have been a volunteer for several animal rescue organizations in Tucson throughout the years and eventually I burnout just from the sheer heartbreak of it all; however, it isn't like that at Hearts That Purr. Although the stories that result in the cats ending up at HTP might be sad, their lives, once they arrive, only get better and better. They are showered with love, they get the medical attention they often need but has been overlooked by their elderly owners, they get sunshine-filled rooms with music, they get comfy beds, clean litter boxes, windows with a view, a plethora of cat condos, their choice of high grade cat foods and lots and lots of love. Instead of my heart breaking while I am there, my heart rejoices. I have arranged for my 5 cats to go there when I pass. It is an invaluable service that Jeanmarie provides and her heart-of-gold makes it a fantastic place to volunteer.
