Review for Pawsitively Cats, Tucson, AZ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

A friend of mine told me about this cat shelter recently and I was fortunate enough to visit during a weekend Cat Cafe. While enjoying some treats and coffee with many cat lovers and visitors, we spent a good morning visiting with the lovely adoptable cats. The shelter is clean, the volunteers are friendly, the cats look healthy and well cared for. With so many kitties needing forever homes, it was great to see another cat shelter in Tucson doing such a good job.

Review for Hearts That Purr Feline Guardians, Tucson, AZ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The unique niche that Hearts That Purr fills continues to provide elderly felines with love and care when their elderly 'people' no longer can due to sickness or death. Older cats who are grieving present challenges, yet HTP and their crew of caring volunteers and medical professionals gently nurture these cats, make them comfortable, and make their final years bright and happy. As a volunteer, I've personally seen how ongoing medical care and love can work little miracles in these sweet cats. HTP is so homey, the cats have room to roam, sleep and dream and their fondness for treats and toys is indulged with lots of lap time from loving volunteers, 'cat whisperers' all. Their Senior Kitizens for Senior Citizens Program has enriched the lives of seniors and felines alike, and I know of no other program like it. It is such a special and thoughtful approach that allows cat lovers to continue to enjoy cat companionship throughout their lives. It is a privilege to be part of the HTP family, it's a purr-fect place for felines!

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

It would be wonderful if this organization would have branches all over the USA!

Review for Hearts That Purr Feline Guardians, Tucson, AZ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Hearts That Purr fills a unique niche. . . providing lifetime care for older cats whose people are terminally ill or have passed away. I love volunteering there because the cats are happy (you can tell, because each special kitty personality shines through). The home is truly a home, light, bright, clean and cheerful with everything a feline could possibly desire in the way of comfort, food or toys. This is where I want my cats to go, if we were unable to continue to care for them.
