The Historical Society is a well run organization that serves our Broward County Community. It is centrally located right in the heart of the original Fort Lauderdale, New River area. I have used the library at the society to do specific research on residential homes in the eastern section of the city. There is no other facility that offers this type of documentation on the development of our fine historic community. I have also attended presentations on historic homes with my family and it brings a greater understanding of the development of south Florida. This is a very diverse community and the society serves the needs of all residents. Patrick Sullivan, Plantation.
