Review for In Need of Diagnosis, Orlando, FL, USA

Rating: 5 stars

When I first found INOD, I literally cried! To read other people's stories, and to know that I was not on this journey alone was simply over-whelming. Upon contact, I not only received a personal written reply, but Marianne took the time to phone me to discuss my case, and to encourage me not to despair. You can not know how much that means to have some one so far away whom you haven't met care, when it seems that the medical professionals you are seeing have become indifferent due to lack of ability to "cure" the problem. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I am not certain what you need here that wasn't already covered above, but the results for me would simply be the support and encouragement I need to continue on each day.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Give the opportunity for more support staff, and consulting, that their work could grow and expand to help even more people.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The knowlege that I am not alone, and their willingness to reach out in a BIG way!

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Marianne personally contacted me via telephone to ask questions, make recommendations, and encourage me.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Open up research, and attract more medical professionals to their cause.

Ways to make it better...

They were able to have more support themselves, as their funds limit their ability to diagnose each problem.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Medical professionals' involvement.

One thing I'd also say is that...

The people who use this organiztion are hurting physically, but emotionally as well, and the compassion and support mean more sometimes than the diagnosis or cure.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every month

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

Role:  Client Served & I received encouragement that brought me out of my despair!.
