Review for Patrick Chege Memorial Orphanage Inc, New York, NY, USA
Patrick Chege Memorial Orphanage is now an extended foster care program. The girls all attend an excellent residential school and come back to our all girl group home during the holidays. The children are provided with clothing, books, food , medical care, an excellent education, and the opportunity to succeed. We are still growing and look to the future with a full-time group home for girls of all ages with access to mental health professionals.
Please join us as a sponsor and watch us grow and change young girls lives in Kenya.
Review for Global Peace Film Festival, Inc., Orlando, FL, USA
The Global Peace Film Festival engages the audience at a level deeper than what any other film festival has been able to do. It has created activists who are called to action at the end of a film. I feel that GPFF should be in every middle and high school classroom as part of civic and social awareness. Too often our children struggle to find their voices in activism without guidance. GPFF can help children find those voices in a productive way...through media.
Review for Global Peace Film Festival, Inc., Orlando, FL, USA
Global Peace Film Festival is an incredible event that allows filmmakers from all over the world to share their stories of human struggle for peace and justice. Nina Streich has defied all odds for well over a decade to continue to bring this event to Orlando and create an forum where people can discuss their views on social justice and peace during a climate of uncertainty in this country. Everyone who has worked on this event does it for the love of great film making and a passion to have their stories heard. A must to see!
