Review for Hope For Paws, Los Angeles, CA, USA
They obviously help dogs that would probably have died without them. I follow one of their most famous rescues on Facebook with the adoptive family, the dog is healthy and happy. Jordan, the puppy that was mutilated by a mentally ill person, they cut off his leg and threw him in the Los Angeles river. Luckily, it was in the middle of the drought and he didn't drown. HFP climbed down and made the rescue and got the medical care he needed... so I know that the dogs end up in good homes eventually.
They are raking it in though. Looks like they took in close to $4 million dollars in 2016. Like most charities, they are probably somewhere in the middle. They are abhorrent at the PayPal thing. Luckily, Paypal now has a way to stop a subscription on the paypal end as HFP would never get back to you. I'm sure they pay themselves quite well and write off their vehicles and part of their home costs. Many charities do this.
Audrey died a few years ago, Eldad made a video of commemoration.
