I work for a large bank in Las Vegas and we have the opportunity to participate in this event several times throughout the year. Our team member love attending Operation School Bell because they get to see an immediate difference in the self-esteem of a child in need. Helping these kids is healing and humbling. As a volunteer, you can't help but walk away a better person after interacting with a child, helping them pick out brand new clothes in a store-like environment. As the child walks out of the dressing room in their new attire, their smile melts your heart. Many have mentioned this was the first time they had brand new socks or shoes. Wow!
