My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for A Forever-Home Rescue Foundation, Inc., Chantilly, VA, USA
I am not one to usually leave reviews but this organization is extremely unprofessional. The lack of communication after you have been through half of the adoption process is incredible. My daughter and I did the interview signed the application and have been waiting for a home visit. We were told AFH doesnt adopt certain breeds to renters which is fine and understandable- (Bethany) was amazing helping me find a few other dogs that I could adopt. I found one we loved and sent 6 messages inquiring about the dog just to be told that someone will get back to me. I never heard from the dogs foster or AFH.
I looked at Homeward Trails- found a puppy Thursday, filled out my application, got a call from the organization and foster, met by puppy Saturday and brought him home. I feel like adopting a dog should be an easy and fun process all the way around and AFH didnt make that experience happen.
I hope the dogs under their care find loving homes, because from the looks of it there are many people (including myself) that were ready and willing to be those homes. I am not bashing the organization just a little disappointed and hurt that no one could take the time to aide in this process.
