Educational Pathways International (EPI) is a non-profit Organization, which guides, supports and empowers young people who are brilliant and needy through a wide embracing scholarship programme for university students. This non-governmental Organization help students to achieve their educational and career goals.
I am Grace Bichenlib, a medical student at the University for Development Studies (UDS) in Tamale in the northern part of Ghana. I am in the sixth and final year of study. My university lifestyle has completely altered since I received this genuine scholarship from EPI, and I am really grateful for it. I was accepted in August 2017 to the University for Development Studies. My family and I were utterly amazed and thrilled by the news. The fact that we couldn't pay our bills was the most annoying aspect, though. I am grateful to Educational Pathways International (EPI), which came to my assistance to pay for my university studies.
When I initially started medical school, I was worried about how a girl from an impoverished village, would manage to pay for my tertiary education and make my ambition a reality, given that my parents are subsistence farmers. Yet, because of EPI's scholarship five years ago, I never had to worry about anything else during my pre-clinical and clinical years. EPI covered all of the costs of my university education. The only thing left for me to do was concentrate on my studies, which has really helped me develop academically and explore more in my field of study, Medicine, and now I'm in my last year and set to graduate.
Since my childhood, whenever I see someone with an illness, I always feel the need to help the person. This made me develop interest to study science especially the human biological aspect.
Finding myself in the medical school provides me with the opportunity to learn more about the human body and health in order to become one of the top Physicians. Thank you to EPI for making my goal a reality. Clinical years in medical school are when we really spend a lot of money on medical instruments like stethoscopes, patella hammers, pen touch, otoscopes, ophthalmoscopes, tuning forks, to name a few, as well as attire like white coats forward rounds and scrubs for theatre sections, and a lot of books. EPI has alleviated all of my burdens by financially supporting my six-year course of study by giving all of these medical tools and clinical clothes. If it hadn’t been for EPI scholarship, my story would have been one that started medical school but couldn’t complete not because of poor academic performance but because of financial constraints. Despite the financial crisis being experienced in the country, EPI continued to support us and even significantly increased our scholarship funds for the academic year. EPI really saves lives.
EPI does not only help us financially but also teaches us a lot of things pertaining to life such as Entrepreneurship, Time management, the top five skills every employer requires, article writing, public speaking, curriculum vitae writing and a lot more. This I believe will make me unique and also prepare me to fit in any field of life. In fact, the teachings from the Educational Pathway International scholarship meetings has well prepared me for the future and I am really ready for the job market ahead of me and any aspect of life.
My ambition is gradually becoming a reality, thanks to the EPI scholarship programme, and I now have four months to finish medical school and my name would be changed to Dr. Grace Bichenlib. I cannot express how appreciative I am to EPI for making this possible. The EPI scholarship programme is the ideal option for gifted but financially disadvantaged students.

Grace Bichenlib is my name, a fourth year medical student of the University for Development Studies (UDS), Ghana. I was favoured to get this marvellous scholarship from EPI and since then, my life has totally changed for good. I gained admission into the University for Development Studies in August 2017. This was very great news to my family and I. But the disappointing part of it was that, we were financially incapacitated. But thanks to Educational Pathways International (EPI), which came my way to help me and that of my family. Because of EPI’s scholarship, I have nothing to worry about when it comes to the necessities needed for my education, EPI provides everything financially. The only thing left is for me to focus on my studies and this has really helped me improve academically and to explore more in my field of studies (Medicine).

Finding myself in the medical school is an opportunity for me to attain more knowledge about the human body and health to become one of the best medical doctors in the world. Thanks to EPI for making by dream come to a reality. The fourth year in the medical school is one of the years that I really spent much because I had to buy all the books and medical instruments such as stethoscope, patella hammer, pen touch and attires like white coats for ward rounds and scrubs for theatre sections. EPI lifted all the burdens off my shoulders by providing me the money for all these things. The COVID 19 pandemic has really affected a lot of businesses and I was really thinking if EPI could still sponsor me but the organization never consider this as a problem to the extent that they even awarded more students scholarship.
Meeting EPI has really changed my life. I used to think when we talk about education, it is just about you learning only things pertaining to your field of study but EPI has thought me that education is holistic. Apart from what I learn in class as a medical student, EPI has also thought me a lot of things like Entrepreneurship, Time management, the top five skills every employer requires, article writing and a lot more. This I believe will make me unique and also prepare me to fit in any field of life.
Words are not enough to describe the marvelous things EPI has done for me. I can only say I am grateful.

I have loved science since my basic education especially the human aspect of science. I loved to study the systems and every part of human body, because of this, I told myself I was going to do something pertaining to health. I got to know that before I could know much about the human body, then I would have to be a Doctor. This was the time I started learning hard in order to acquire the grade that would send me to a medical school.
