Review for Labrador Rescuers, San Diego, CA, USA
My first experience with Lab Rescuers was when we adopted our first Labrador in 2010. Her shelter name was Carla, but we renamed her Phoebe Louise. She passed away last June, at the age of 17 years. We had seven great years with her. And I thank the group and her foster, Ron, for bringing us together with her. I am now a volunteer with LR. I have fostered over 50 Labs and Lab mixes over the last 4 years. Every one went to a fine forever home through the efforts of all the volunteers in this group. We ended up adopting three more Labs from LR, since the time we adopted Phoebe. The other three, Jordy, Bruiser, and Shelby Ann were all LR fosters of ours at first. Then for various reasons, we adopted them. And we have never regretted it. This is a great organization, filled with people who love Labradors, and will do all they can the rescue, rehabilitate, and find forever homes for these unwanted and abandoned dogs. Such a phenomenal group of volunteers.
