7 years ago I didn’t know how much this sign would mean to me today. I just needed someone to listen to after I was bullied. I wanted to hear someone say that I truly mattered. I just wanted hope. Hope for it to all be better.

7 years later, that sign did have hope. Hope for it to all be better. I joined Free2Luv September 3, 2014. Being able to be a advocate for others going through the same experience as I did, puts joy on my heart. It’s like I was meant to do this. I want to spread kindness no matter where I go. Even if it’s just a simple “hello” and smile at someone having a bad day, it could mean everything to that person.

I didn’t know what it meant to me at the time of joining except knowing that I could lean on them if I needed it. Now, I know what it means. To not give up on the children who are facing unbearable circumstances when it comes to bullying. I want to show those going through it that there is a voice out there spreading the kindness in hopes of others joining along.

It’s been my passion for 7 years. And I hope to continue it. No matter how busy my life gets, I’ll never stop using my voice for the voiceless. Because all it takes is one voice to make an impact on child. To the children, I see you trying to use your voice and nothing comes out. Don’t worry, I’ll be your voice when you can’t use yours.

Although Bullying Prevention Month is over, it doesn’t stop here. It should be talked about 365 days. Because realistically, bullying happens every day. Let’s all raise our voices and show them that they’re not alone. There’s others out there fighting for them. Please join me in raising awareness and spreading kindness.

I’ve been a Youth Advocate since 2014. It’s brought me joy working along side Free2Luv as an advocate. It’s been a passion of mine to help others. If anyone deserves an award, it’s Free2Luv. They always find ways to help others. Their book is amazing. I can’t wait to start doodling in it. Free2Luv has been in my life the last 7 years and i can’t wait to see where they go in 2021. I’m proud to be a Youth Advocate for them. They’ve helped me in life so now it’s my turn to help others in life with them.

Hello everyone. My name is Jasemine I am a Free2Luv youth advocate from California. I now live in Iowa. I joined Free2Luv in September 2014 after I heard of them from a friend. Since I have joined, I get to share my story of hope with everyone who is being bullied in schools. I hope that one day I can do the same thing. I love raising awareness to causes that touch/impact my life. On my down time, I am also a Cystic Fibrosis supporter. I support friends who have CF.
