My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Breast Cancer Options Inc, Kingston, NY, USA
I first discovered BCO before I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. As a high breast cancer risk,I needed to learn all I could, so I got on their e-mail list and started to receive abstracts (several/week) about the latest research related to breast cancer. It was invaluable to me as a high breast cancer risk women and subsequently a breast cancer patient. All the research was at my fingertips in a concise, readable, and not overwhelming manner. In addition, Hope Nemeroff was/is always easily available by phone for any questions and referrals to community services. Between the research abstracts, Complimentary Medicine Conference every year and other educational workshops throughout the year, BCO offers our community accessible, down to earth educational programs which helps all women make informed decisions about their health. Hope Nemeroff is a very bright, tireless advocate, whose organization truly deserves to be honored with a health award.
