Review for Wheel To Walk Foundation, Portland, OR, USA
My 4 year old grandson (ADHD, Sensory Deficiency, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder) was shown a Power Pumper during an Occupational Therapy appointment at Therapy for Kids in Portland. He got into that Power Pumper and with all his might, managed to work the car up and down the hallway at break-neck speed. He simply fell in love with the Power Pumper. However, I had to tell him the Power Pumper he had fallen in love with was likely not going to be in his future because “his grandpa did not have the money to get him one.”
I was given The Wheel to Walk Foundation contact information to apply for assistance. The paperwork was painless to complete. What a pleasant surprise when I was told that The Wheel to Walk Foundation approved my request for my grandson’s Power Pumper gift! After assembling the Power Pumper, he has taken over our parking lot! My grandson’s therapy now includes upper sensory conditioning and it is the Power Pumper that has prepared him for this strenuous therapy.
For families not having access to sensory development products, the Wheel to Walk Foundation has been a tremendous gift for my family. The Wheel to Walk Foundation will forever be in the hearts of my family. Thank you so much Wheels to Walk Foundation.
