Over a period of time we adopted two cockatoos, a Moluccan and a Bare-eyed. We were impressed that not only did Parrot Outreach Society quarantine the parrots for 30 days, but they also did a variety of tests to make sure they were healthy. Their facility is always clean and the birds are well cared for. They have great volunteers, some who specialize in certain parrot species. We especially have high regards for Debby who volunteers in the Cockatoo room. I highly recommend POS as a top notch rescue in which to find wonderful companion birds.
