Michele from Lab Rescuers helped us to find the perfect pup! I originally contacted them regarding several other dogs. Our most important criteria was to find a family dog that our other dog would love - after our senior dog passed away our 2 year old dog was showing signs of anxiety - she needed a friend. Although I was not thinking about a puppy - Michele introduced us to a 7 month old pup that she thought would have the right personality for our dog while still being a great family pet. She was right - it was a perfect fit right from the start! It was a no stress process as we were able to foster Ellie with the intent to adopt for a week - so we knew if it didn't work out we could give her back. Lab Rescuers has lots of great dogs - they are very professional and just an excellent resource for anyone looking to adopt a dog. I highly recommend them.
