I’ve known Andrea Maki for many years and have long been impressed by her resourcefulness and tenacity. She has turned those talents to the mission of her wonderful organization Wild Love Preserve. I’m so impressed by her goal to protect native horses and her ability to bring together the ranchers, the BLM, and environmentalists to do so; working with disparate interests is really the key and its a model that should be used in other places and for other causes. I hope that Wild Love Preserve receives the money it needs to help truly spread the love and save this amazing part of our country’s heritage.
