Review for Gabriel House of care , Jacksonville, FL, USA
We were fortunate to have been accepted for lodging at Gabriel House during my wife's radiation and chemo treatments for tongue cancer from 12/16-02/17 at the Mayo Clinic. It was truly a blessing for us. It would have been impossible for us to have successfully completed her cancer treatments were it not for Gabriel House. The staff was truly wonderful and genuinely caring, and concerned about our welfare and needs. The rooms (and other facilities) were pristine and immaculately clean, a testament to the great job by the housekeeping staff. We we served many wonderful meals during our stay, and when my wife could no longer take oral nourishment and relied on tube feeding, their facilities were geared to accommodate her special needs and requirements. We met, associated, and sometimes commiserated with other patients and caregivers, a couple of whom became close friends with whom we still keep our n touch regularly. We are eternally grateful to the staff at Gabriel House, and to the individuals and organizations that support its mission. Our thanks to Valerie, Carmen, Lisa, Dave & Judy, Dr. John Casler, and the rest of the "angels" involved with our stay. May God bless you all for everything you did for us, and continue to do for others. The Walz's
