Life can be RUFF for Double Merle's! This tremendous group of people do an amazing job of Educating the public on the terrible practices of breeders who either do not care about or do not know the dangers of breeding two merles. Then they go many steps further to help rescue, foster and find forever homes for these gentle puppy souls. And to top it off they show just how amazing these dogs can be despite what some of us would consider major disabilities. Me and my double merle Willow thank them from the bottom of our hearts for the work they do to try to stop this practice. They are a GREAT NonProfit and Angels in my book!

We found Briggs Animal Adoption Center before the holidays last year. We were looking for a local facility to donate to and happened upon this wonderful facility just down the road from us. After donating last Christmas we immediately fell in love with the place and the people. We started volunteering soon after and have been coming at least one day a week since then. Though usually we can't stay away and end up there 2-3 days a week! The animals are so well cared for. The facility is super neat , clean and well thought out. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure all of the animals get the attention they need and the loving homes they deserve. Our lives are so much better since finding Briggs and we only hope the time we spend there makes a difference too! It didn't take us long before we adopted a dog from Briggs too. Their adoption process is very detailed and involved which shows they care! We appreciate that they take so much time making sure that the animals have their best opportunity for a forever home after going through so much already in their lives. If you are looking for a wonderful place to volunteer with this is it! If you are looking to donate then donate here. Honestly it is the best place we know!
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Hit the lottery and give them everything they need to take care of the animals for many many years!
