Review for Push International, Woodinville, WA, USA
I had the most amazing time in Mazatlán, Mexico with Push International. The team there is just incredible, they put in so much hard work to make the experience of volunteers great. You can really tell how much time they put into organizing the itinerary and fitting in as many learning experiences and cultural activities they could into our trip. We went on a tour of the city, we went to the beach and to an amazing marketplace, we ate the most incredible seafood and heard live banda music. We had the best time working with the team there learning how to repair wheelchairs that they had gathered to be donated to the community. So many people were helped through the hard work this organization does to ensure that people in need receive medical equipment such as walkers and wheelchairs. We were trained on how to fit clients in their wheelchairs and how to train people on the proper use of the equipment. Not only that but we had valuable lectures to do with our studies as well as workshops. You really are immersed in the culture and the community if you work with Push International. This is an opportunity not to be missed that will leave you feeling overjoyed and wanting to return soon as you get home. I am so grateful for the amazing experience that you receive if you volunteer with Push International.
